The Miramichi baseball park was host this past weekend to the first ever Girls Day in baseball.
Hosted by Baseball New Brunswick the day featured young female athletes put through a series of drill on hitting, throwing, catching, running and other skills. All this under the watchful eyes of Canadian national team members M.J. Trembley and Samantha Magalas.
Participants also got a pink baseball hat for taking part in the event and a barbecue courtesy of Sobeys.
