USA – Girls – School

Home Page – NFHS | National Federation of State High School Associations

Each state member organization that governs all sports and activities’ rules can be contacted direct to find out whether or not girls are automatically permitted to play Baseball – or require a waiver from the state’s organization to play:

Each state high school association adopting NFHS sports rules is the sole and exclusive source of binding rules interpretations for contests involving its member schools. Any person having questions about the interpretation of NFHS rules should contact the rules interpreter designated by his or her state high school association.

Click, here, for access to a Google Spreadsheet containing contact info for each NFHS member organization by state – including a baseball-specific Web address, if one exists.

The NFHS is the sole and exclusive source of model interpretations of NFHS rules. State rules interpreters may contact the NFHS for model rules interpretations. No other model rules interpretations should be considered.

One Response to “USA – Girls – School”

  1. Jeff Says:

Thanks to this lawsuit and another petition filed with the IHSAA last year, there are now at least two girls playing high school baseball in central Indiana. My daughter is one of them, and the experience has benefited her immensely.

My gratitude to the young women who paved the way.
