Run 4 All Women was born in the early weeks of 2017, right before the inauguration, as many of us worried about what the future would hold. I was searching for a way to reconcile the frustration and fear I felt; was there a way to affect real change?
The answer came in the form of an idea: run from my home in Harlem to Washington D.C. and raise money for Planned Parenthood. We planned on keeping it small, just a few friends in a borrowed car, running every day and stopping each night. The goal was to raise as much money as we could and arrive in time for the Women’s March.
